Nettle Caterpillar 1

Family: Limacodidae (Saddleback Caterpillars)
Species: Parasa pseudorepanda (Hering, 1933)
Common Name: Nettle Caterpillar

Location: Toa Payoh Town Garden

This is a beautiful but malicious pest caterpillar endemic to East and South East Asia. The green grub with a blueish stripe on its back (Blue-striped Nettle Grub) infested already many other Asian countries, especially Japan.
