The female has a black dorsum of the thorax and vertical bands of brown and white on the abdomen. The eyes are light brown on top and olive green below.

Unlike the male, the female's wing base is tinted with amber only on the hind wings. In this picture, there is an excrement at the tip of the abdomen.
