Here, the beltpack is removed to illustrate how the simple but effective locking or unlocking mechanism actually works.

To get ready the beltpack for rotation to the front of the user, pull hard at the 'unlock' symbol end of the locking or unlocking mechanism, in the direction of the yellow arrow as indicated.

What this action does is to pull a hidden opaque plastic sheet to slide in-between the hooks of the two vertical slits behind the beltpack (as shown, see other yellow arrow) and the loops of the two vertical wedges behind the backwall of the rectangular hole of the backpack (as shown in the next picture).

To rotate, grab the handle at the end of the beltpack and pull hard.
