On the left of the picture is a backpack and on the right is a sling/torso pack. Slotted in the middle is the first ever hybrid of its kind from Kata -- aptly named as a Sling-Backpack. In sling bag mode, it pioneers the design for both right-handed as well as left-handed photographers. How thoughtful indeed!

It comes in 3 models and the one being reviewed here is the 3n1-20 (medium-size model). There is also a smaller 3n1-10 and a larger 3n1-30. More good news to come; you can also carry it backpack-style or with the shoulder straps in a frontal X-position for long distance commuting.
